Arena School of English is happy to arrange accommodation for you while you study English in Dublin. We can offer you a choice of four different types of accommodation.

Host Family Accommodation

We have carefully selected each of our Irish host families to ensure you are provided with friendly and comfortable accommodation. Most host families we select are located on the green LUAS tram line with an average travel time to and from the English school of 15-20 minutes.

Single Private Room: €190 per week including breakfast and evening meal every day.

Twin Room: €175 per week per person including breakfast and evening meal every day (available only for two friends together).

City Centre Hostel Accommodation

Arena School of English can arrange accommodation for you in an excellent international hostel located in the centre of Dublin beside our English School, subject to availability. Arena School of English has special discounted prices for our students that include a light breakfast every morning and bed linen. There is also a communal kitchen where you can cook meals. If you stay here you will be located in the city centre and meet other people from all over the world.

Accommodation types include single rooms from only €25 per night, twin rooms, triple rooms, 4-bed rooms and dorms. Please contact us for prices and availability.

City Self Catering Accommodation

We have a small number of rooms available in houses and apartments in the city centre close to the English school. Prices for a single room from €190 per week, subject to availability. Accommodation is normally a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the school and you will have full use of the accommodation's kitchen, washing machine, etc.

Student Residence Apartments

Available only during summer months - June, July & August. You will have a private room with a shared bathroom and you will share the kitchen and living room with other students. Prices from €150 per week for a private room.

Accommodation Administration Fee

There is an accommodation administration fee of €50 for all accommodation booked through Arena School of English. All accommodation must be paid for in advance in order to confirm the reservation. All accommodation types are subject to availability, students are advised to book as far in advance as possible.

Other Accommodation in Dublin

If you are coming to Dublin for 2-3 months or longer the cheapest option is to rent an apartment in Dublin or find an apartment to share with other people. Visit the website www.daft.ie

Airport Transfer

Arena School of English can collect you at Dublin Airport and drive you to your accommodation for a fee of €80.

Your arrival in Ireland

You will almost definitely first arrive in Ireland via Dublin Airport. The airport is located about 9km north of the City Centre.

On arrival we recommend that you take a taxi from outside the arrivals hall to your accommodation. It should cost no more than €20. Taxi’s are plentiful, clean and safe.

Alternatively there is a shuttle bus service to the City Centre. Tickets are from €7 one way.

The English Academy can also meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation for €70.
